Key Responsibilities:
* Bookkeeping & Administration: Handle daily accounting for multiple entities across different countries, including processing invoices, bank statements, and other financial documents.
* Accounts Management: Oversee both accounts receivable and accounts payable, ensuring timely payments and collections. You’ll also maintain communication with customers and suppliers.
* Reporting & Analytics: Assist with monthly and annual financial reports, while analyzing data to identify trends or discrepancies.
* Financial Statements: Support the preparation of annual accounts and ensure timely reporting to the accountant.
* Tax Returns: Help prepare VAT returns and other tax obligations for entities in the Netherlands and abroad.
* Internal Controls: Ensure compliance with internal controls and improve procedures to guarantee accurate financial records.
Who You Are:
* Education: You have a completed HBO education in finance (e.g., Business Economics, Accountancy) and at least 3 years of relevant work experience.
* Skills: Strong knowledge of accounting and financial administration, with experience using financial software and excellent proficiency in MS Excel.
* Analytical: You have keen analytical skills and can effectively interpret financial data.
* Languages: Fluent in both Dutch and English.
* Work Style: Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently with strong communication skills.
* Location: You live within 45 minutes of Amsterdam’s Zuidas by public transport.
