The Position
As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be welcomed into a team of 15 colleagues within the AME Technical Execution department, where you will be working together with equipment responsible, taking preventive actions as well as driving improvement initiatives and optimisations across the filling production. Join the journey of ramp up, increasing the capacity of our filling production lines to support the sites globally!
Our team is working together with many people in the network and collaborate with many different stakeholders at different levels a across the organisation. As this position has a global scope collaborating with the sites in US, Brazil, China and France, you will have the opportunity to travel for the position.
Together with the local site, you will be responsible for:
• Ensuring the stability of our production equipment across Novo Nordisk global sites.
• Implementation of improvements initiatives.
• Development of skilled workers’ and technicians’ knowledge.
• Systematic problem solving, driving optimal performance of the filling equipment’s and defining strategy for reliable line setup.
• Completing documentation utilising a high level of detail.
Qualifications
The qualifications we value include having:
• A min. bachelor’s degree within mechanical engineering, or a background as a technician/craftsman and having experience in manufacturing parts.
• Deep understanding of mechanical adjustments, alignments, dimensioning and how tolerances can influence manufacturing process and having experience using this knowledge to improve performance.
• Filling experience, preferably within pharmaceutical manufacturing process, or experience in a highly regulated environment such as the biotech/pharmaceutical industry, food industry, precision mechanics or aviation.
• Experience with isolators, which is considered a plus.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
As a person, you have a focus on quality, a problem-solving approach and a drive to create new solutions for technical challenges. Having excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships cross-functionally and globally is crucial in this role.
About the Department
You will be a part of the Technical Execution team in Aseptic Manufacturing Engineering in AM, Product Supply (PS). The working place will be in Bagsværd, Denmark. The team’s mission is to minimise or eliminate human interaction with our injectable products through optimisation, robotics and automation.
