Systems Administrator IV in Vicenza, Italy

This position is contingent upon contract award

Amentum is seeking a Systems Administrator IV to support an upcoming INSCOM G-4 Global Intelligence Logistics and Engineering (GILE) Support contract. These services will support tactical, operational, and strategic intelligence units, personnel and their ground and aerial intelligence equipment and operations facilities and infrastructure and may occur from multiple locations simultaneously.

Essential Duties:

• Able to maneuver in small spaces and lift 50lbs.

• Expert level knowledge of current version of Scripting, UNIX System Administration, Windows NT administration, LAN/WAN, Networking Protocols and Domain Name Service.

• Must be familiar with LAN-based video teleconferencing standards and streaming video-on-demand.

• Understanding of multimedia and internet-based messaging such as voice, e-mail, universal messaging over standard platforms.

• Experience with network analyzers, probes and protocol diagnostics.

• Expert level knowledge of TCP/IP internals, routing, addressing, sub-netting and design issues of routers, hubs etc.

• Knowledge of security operations such as security safeguards administration, access filter definition and penetration testing.

• Expert level ability to implement network security control services such as firewalls and advanced Authentication Systems.

• Expert level administration experience on current version of satellite, database, UNIX and MS NT server and Exchange Messaging systems. Recent experience

• troubleshooting encryption devices.

• Able to attain current required certifications/clearance requirements for working on a DOD network. These are identified by site and network.

• Demonstrated experience with Network Interface Systems, Network File System and Open System Interconnect.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be a US Citizen.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or Computer Engineering degree; or a degree in a Mathematics or Engineering field or related field from an accredited college/university.

• 9-13 years of demonstrated experience in the System Administration field.

• Certification shall include but not limited to at least three of the following: MS Windows Certification, CCNA, VMWare Certified Professional (VCP), NetApp, CISCO, IAT Tier III Certification

• Fluent in the English Language (written/oral).

• Must possess a U.S government Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility (TS/SCI). Some positions may require a polygraph.
