For ExxonMobil Antwerp we’re looking for a Facility manager.

General Position Description

To deliver best practices facility management for our client ExxonMobil that are aligned with global service levels and site Business Unit requirements. Operations are to be in compliance with all ExxonMobil corporate practices/policies and all applicable laws and regulations.

Position has overall responsibility to implement and manage safety health and environmental processes including LPS, security systems, business controls processes, budget and planning processes, asset management including operations and maintenance processes, tenant services including Information Management Systems where required, interfaces with site Business Units and government/regulatory agencies, and any additional site-specific requirements.

Major Responsibilities

  • Develops, manages, and motivates the CBRE facility team through leadership, vision, and setting of goals and objectives, to achieve a highly effective and results driven organization. Champions client business objectives and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Implements and manages site safety/health/environmental/security systems including OIMS, and business controls system including CIMS, to ensure compliance with corporate expectations and appropriate laws/regulations. Champions PSMS process for employee and contractor personnel.

  • Manages operations and projects to budget opex and capex.

  • Manages tenant services and monitors key performance indicators, service statistics and trends to ensure that service levels are aligned with E&PS standards and site Business Unit requirements (either through ExxonMobil resourcing or through the Landlord agreements).

  • Manages the facility asset to ensure optimum asset value through best practices including operations and maintenance including optimum energy usage, site environmental programs, recycling. etc.

  • Manages the development of best practice facility management services through benchmarking, networking, and use of internal ExxonMobil resources.

  • Provides personnel development of ExxonMobil staff and management of labor relations as required.

  • Provides support and direction for facilities records management activities where required

  • Serves as Primary contact with site Business Units, enlists support from CBRE on all real estate matters, and facilitates interactions with centralized E&PS services such as SHE, Controllers, CoE, Planning, etc.

  • SHES metrics / record.

  • Controls metrics / record.

  • Operating expense vs. budget.

  • Operating cost trends per person/seat and per unit area.

  • Customer satisfaction results.

  • Operational Performance metrics (business disruptions, etc).

  • Cost savings/value add initiatives.

Required Qualifications/Competencies

  • Proven leadership skills to achieve high standards and results.

  • Proven communication and negotiation skills both oral and written.

  • Business, financial and planning skills.

  • Project management, change management, coordination, analytical and conceptual thinking skills.

  • Supervisory, personnel administration and contract administration skills.

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, facility management, or relevant technical discipline.

  • Working knowledge of real estate and/ or building engineering disciplines.

  • Knowledge of facility related regulatory requirements and ExxonMobil expectations including OIMS and CIMS requirements.
