You can work together with an international team with technical experts from around the globe to develop new sensors, applications and platforms to define the future automotive technology.We are looking for a passionate engineer with a background in embedded AI, machine learning or radar engineering.In this job you shall apply the latest radar and AI/ML technologies developed by Aptiv and for Aptiv’s newest radar sensor generations on an Embedded platform to create competitive market-leading perception solutions.Your RoleDevelopment of artificial intelligence (AI) focused perception systemsBringing Aptiv’s latest Radar ML technology to embedded devices by defining proper interfaces, efficient implementation and real-time integration of algorithms for AI SoCsDevelop and apply tools and methods enabling related activitiesSupport hardware selection processes and become company expert for AI SoCsInterdisciplinary communication with algorithm experts, system developers and embedded experts from Aptiv and external suppliersYour BackgroundMaster or Ph.D. in science, technology, physics, engineering and mathematics or a related fieldProven background in embedded software development (at least 2 years)Strong programming skills in C, C++ including applying compiler and debugging methodsStrong programming skills with pythonExperience with code optimization approaches, well understanding of memory dependenciesFamiliar with fixed point implementation and quantizationFamiliar with instruction sets and memory architectures, FPGA, DSP and AI processorsGood analytical skills and a good mathematical backgroundGeneral knowledge about perception and machine learning algorithmsNice to haveExperience with Texas Instruments Hardware (TDA4) and Deep Learning Software Library (TIDL)Experience in development of deep learning from scientific or professional backgroundExperience developing software as part of a teamExperience in automotive and with ADAS / ADAcademic background on above experience, authorship on relevant literatureWhy join us?You can grow at Aptiv.
