Job description

We are seeking a skilled Camunda BPM Developer/Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing and implementing business process automation solutions using the Camunda BPM platform. You will be responsible for designing, building, and deploying BPMN workflows, integrating Camunda with other systems, and ensuring the overall performance and scalability of BPM applications.Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Process Design: Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand business processes and translate them into executable BPMN models using Camunda BPM.
  • Workflow Development: Design and implement complex workflows using BPMN 2.0, CMMN, and DMN standards in Camunda BPM.
  • Integration: Integrate Camunda BPM with other enterprise systems and applications, ensuring seamless data flow and process automation.
  • Custom Scripting: Write and maintain custom Java, JavaScript, or Groovy scripts to enhance workflow automation and execution within the Camunda engine.
  • Testing & Debugging: Develop unit and integration tests for BPM workflows, ensuring robust and error-free execution. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues in the process flows.
  • Optimization: Monitor and optimize the performance of Camunda BPM applications, including tuning the Camunda engine and improving the efficiency of process models.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of process designs, workflows, integrations, and any custom code developed for the Camunda BPM platform.
  • Training & Support: Provide training and support to internal teams and stakeholders on the use of Camunda BPM and related tools. Assist with troubleshooting and resolving user issues.
  • Compliance & Standards: Ensure that all BPM processes adhere to company standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in BPM development, with at least 5 years specifically in Camunda BPM.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing BPMN 2.0 workflows.
  • Experience with CMMN (Case Management Model and Notation) and DMN (Decision Model and Notation) is a plus.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficient in Camunda BPM, including the Camunda Modeler, Cockpit, and Tasklist.
  • Strong knowledge of Java and/or JavaScript for custom scripting within Camunda.
  • Familiarity with Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices architecture.
  • Experience with database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and SQL for data manipulation within BPM processes.
  • Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes for containerized Camunda deployments is a plus.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and DevOps practices.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Camunda BPM certification.
  • Experience in Agile or Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience with other BPM tools like IBM BPM, Pega, or Appian is advantageous.
