Additional information can be found by visiting .Product Line In-Vehicle Networking is enabling this by bringing high-speed, CAN, LIN, FlexRay and Ethernet-based data communication into the cars.We have a position available for the role of:Principal Digital DesignerMain responsibilities:
- Play key team member role in Automotive Ethernet System-on-Chip (SOC) & digital IPs development from Micro-Architecture to RTL implementation
- Define the Micro-Architecture specification based on product/IP requirement and drive its implementation within timing and budget constraints
- Hands-on contributor to IP & SOC digital design/integration from scratch, using state-of-art design methodology
- Proper integration of the Silicon IP modules into the top-level IC design
- Ensure high design quality that meets the stringent demands in the Automotive market
- Take end-responsibility for architecture and implementation
- Cooperate closely with Systems & Applications team; establish strong link with all stakeholders
Expected Skills
- Masters or Ph.D. Degree in Electronics Engineering is a must
- 10+ years of experience in SoC design.
- Fluency in design & verification languages such as VHDL, Verilog, C and System Verilog.
- Experience in Spyglass or Questa for lint and CDC checks, and NCSim/VCS.
- Experience in using Cadence RC for synthesis and LEC flow.
- Experience in identifying and implementing complex ECO in netlist.
- Knowledge on Verification Methodologies to actively participate in Debug Analysis.
- Knowledge of Automotive Ethernet standards like 100BASE-T1, and 1000BASE-T1, as well as digital interfaces like USXGMII is a plus.
- Experience in Microcontroller architectures, high-speed interfaces, Ethernet Switch architectures, Network processors, protocols and industry standards is a strong benefit.
