The Position
As Associate Manager of the MPP Support team, you will lead a team responsible for securing equipment operation and GMP compliance in three pilot facilities on two locations. You will also work closely with skilled employees across CMC API Pilots and other CMC area to secure facility development for future demands.
As we are a new department you will also be responsible for creating a team by of employees and new hires, creating an overview and structure for the team, setting a clear direction and helping the team in prioritizing.
Your main tasks will be to:
-Ensure stable pilot facility support
-Empower and develop team members, ensuring efficient operations
-Supporting/leading Project Leads in technical investment projects
-Collaborate with stakeholders
As Associate Manager you will be part of the leadership team in
CMC MPP
, which is composed of 1 Director, 4 Associate Managers and an administrative coordinator that meets frequently, support each other, and routinely use each other as sparring partners.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need a
technical background as an Engineer, bachelor’s in technology management and engineering (“Maskinmester”), or M.sc in Pharmacy. Furthermore, you will need:
-Experience in the pharma industry and knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) is preferred.
-Leadership experience and a
natural desire to engage, develop and empower people
.
-Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with both internal and external collaboration partners
.
-Fluency in written and spoken English
.
-G
ood technical insight and interest in qualification/validation requirements is preferable.

As part of Novo Nordisk PSQIT organisation, Chemistry, Manufacturing and Control (CMC) Development & Scaling makes a real difference for patients with chronic diseases across the world. We develop, manufacture and distribute drug candidates for clinical trials and have a strong culture with a “can do” mind-set.
The CMC Mammalian Pilot Plants department is
organised within CMC API Pilots
and support Novo Nordisk’s important strategic projects within our mammalian platform.
