This role is based in Istanbul, Türkiye, and directly reports to Senior Director, People & Organization.
The position
As HRBP you will be responsible for developing, planning, conducting, coordinating, and implementing People and Organisation (P&O) processes and initiatives regarding to employee life cycle with due recognition of Novo Nordisk vision, values, policies and in accordance with Novo Nordisk Turkey’s strategies and business objectives. The department which you would support, Clinical Development Centre (CDC) Türkiye, is responsible for all clinical operations activities within and project management of clinical studies conducted in Ukraine, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Algeria, and Morocco. The assigned responsibilities provide travel and flexible working hours as the activities are executed in accordance with the stakeholders’/company available places, times, and the timelines of meetings.
Your responsibilities will also include:
-Acting as the primary contact for Novo Nordisk Türkiye Clinical Development Centre (CDC) employees for all People and Organisation (P&O) related issues, executing and supporting employee experience journey and P&O processes such as salary increase & Short-Term Incentive, job offers etc.
-Translating Novo Nordisk Türkiye Clinical Development Centre (CDC) business strategies and priorities into People and Organisation (P&O) plans and implementing, delivering, and improving local initiatives and programs regarding Diversity & Inclusion and Wellbeing to shape, foster, and engage a diverse and inclusive employee environment rooted in the NN Way.
-Building organizational capabilities through advising, facilitating, and supporting the Performance Management, Talent Management and Succession Planning, progression and leadership development processes.
-Implementing and executing CDC related internal communication and employer branding initiatives.
-Coaching managers and teams on employee related issues
The Qualifications
-You have bachelor’s degree from related fields and master’s degree and/or MBA is a plus. You have at least 5 years of relevant Human Resources experience with minimum 2 years partnering with business leaders. You should have excellent command over both written and spoken Turkish and English.
-You have a high performing and learning mindset, and good facilitation, presentation, planning and project management skills.
-You are process and results oriented and agile in actions and have excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
-You have an ability to understand the implications of business challenges and translate them into HR focus areas and initiatives in line with people & organisation agenda.
-You are capable of building strong working relationships with various stakeholders and communicating with diverse audiences with impact and effectively coach employees and management through complex and difficult issues.
As a person you have a “can-do” mindset, with the ability to balance people and business objectives and strong change management experience and can adapt and lead through uncertainty and ambiguity.
