Our client, a leading European bank with a strong reputation in investment banking is seeking a skilled and motivated TMT Associate to join its team in Amsterdam. This role is perfect for a driven professional looking to advance their career within the dynamic and rapidly evolving Technology, Media, and Telecommunications sectors.Position Overview:As a TMT Associate, you will play a key role in supporting the execution of mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, and advisory transactions within the TMT sector. You will collaborate with senior bankers and clients to provide strategic solutions, conduct comprehensive financial analysis, and manage all aspects of the transaction process.Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the origination and execution of M&A, equity, and debt transactions within the TMT sector.
  • Perform detailed financial analysis, including financial modelling, valuation, and due diligence.
  • Prepare and deliver client presentations, pitch books, and other transaction-related materials.
  • Conduct industry and company research to identify strategic opportunities and support transaction ideas.
  • Work closely with internal teams, including sector specialists, risk, legal, and compliance, to ensure successful transaction execution.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing high-quality service and strategic insights.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or a related field, with a focus on TMT sectors.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related discipline; advanced degree or professional qualifications (e.g., CFA) preferred.
  • Skills: Strong financial modelling and analytical skills, with proficiency in Excel and financial databases. Excellent communication, presentation, and project management abilities.
  • Languages: Fluency in Dutch is essential.
  • Attributes: Highly motivated, team-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Expected salary

€80000 – 80001 per year
