This position offers the opportunity to influence the direction of our global data initiatives.Key Responsibilities:

  • Technology Enhancement: Contribute to the evolution of our global data and analytics technology stack, ensuring alignment with analytics products and core data assets.
  • Data Strategy Development: Design and implement data management strategies for our global data assets and analytics solutions.
  • Architectural Leadership:
  • Serve as the Data Architect/Analytics Solution Architect, leading technical efforts in one or more areas, including:
  • Driving data science projects by building cloud-native applications in collaboration with data scientists and cloud developers.
  • Leading the implementation and operation of global data assets by integrating various data sources (e.g., finance) into a unified system.
  • Overseeing descriptive analytics initiatives, creating data-intensive dashboards with data engineers and BI developers.
  • Compliance & Security: Ensure compliance with data access protocols, manage legal requirements, and address data privacy concerns to deliver scalable, fit-for-purpose analytics solutions.
  • Technical Leadership: Act as a technical leader for implementation teams, focusing on backend development, and collaborating with data architects, analytics teams, and global business functions to deliver cross-country analytics products.
  • Vendor Management: Manage external service providers, prepare cost and time estimates, and ensure smooth transitions to operations.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in Data & Analytics, with a strong background as a Data & Solution Architect. Experience in the CPG/FMCG industry is a plus.
  • Proven ability to achieve challenging goals in a dynamic environment.
  • Deep knowledge of data architecture, data lifecycle, software development lifecycle, DevOps, and data management (cataloguing, quality management).
  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Big Data, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and business judgment skills.
  • Proficiency in technologies such as Databricks and Snowflake; familiarity with Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake Gen2, Python, AzureML, and cloud-native application development is advantageous.
  • Solid understanding of Spark-based ETL processing, event-driven data processing, SQL, and cloud computing solutions in data & analytics.
  • Experience with commercial or financial data domains (e.g., P&L, SD data, Cash Flow) is beneficial.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with expertise in consulting, presentation, and active listening.
  • Fluency in English
  • Willingness to travel for business trips
