Job Description:
We are looking for a Desktop Support Engineer to to provide technical assistance to our end users. You will help install, upgrade and troubleshoot hardware and software systems.
You must be able to coordinate small projects independently and must have TO DO mindset.
Day to day job tasks will include

  • Driving minor projects for digital workplace i.e. One drive migration
  • Provisioning computers using Autopilot/SCCM Imaging.
  • Performing system health check and compliance before handing over hardware to end users.
  • Helping in office move.
  • Address user tickets regarding hardware, software and networking
  • Walk customers through installing applications and computer peripherals
  • Ask targeted questions to diagnose problems
  • Guide users with simple, step-by-step instructions
  • Conduct remote troubleshooting
  • Test alternative pathways until you resolve an issue
  • Customize desktop applications to meet user needs
  • Record technical issues and solutions in logs
  • Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel
  • Follow up with clients to ensure their systems are functional
  • Report customer feedback and potential product requests
  • Help create technical documentation and manuals
  • Experience supporting, implementing, and managing a windows workstation (desktop\laptop) deployment (Windows 7 / Windows 10)

Experience

  • Hands on experience in managing Modern & Digital workplace.
  • Hands on experience on managing Client laptops/desktops.
  • Hands on experience to create/delete/Modify User account in AD.
  • Troubleshooting end user issues related to hardware & software.
  • Experience in Managing Win7/Win10 OS.
  • Basic knowledge of SCCM Imaging, client end troubleshooting.
  • Basic knowledge of provisioning systems via Autopilot or SCCM PXE.
  • Basic knowledge of AD, DHCP, DNS etc.
