We are seeking candidates for our client which is an American publicly traded telecommunications company. The company was the world’s largest telephone service company and the largest cable television network for a time. Currently due to a lot of new projects they’re expanding european team and looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer.Quality Assurance Engineer
Workplace: Katowice (Poland), Brno (Czechia) or Bratislava (Slovakia)
Work in hybrid system: 1 office day per weekShort about role:
The QA Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing tests, debugging, and defining corrective actions, as well as reviewing system requirements and tracking quality assurance metrics.
A key aspect of this role involves conducting tests before product launches to ensure software runs smoothly, meets client needs, and remains cost-effective. You should possess a background in both software development and quality assurance, demonstrating a commitment to excellence and continuous improvement.Some of responsibilities:

• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
• Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
• Design, develop and execute automation scripts
• Work with the US-based Quality Lead to develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs
• Monitor debugging process results
• Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions

Skills & Experience:

• More than 3 years of Test Automation experiences on the level as the test programmer, not only user. (MUST HAVE, real test automation experiences)
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
• Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Be able to work with standard collaboration tools (JIRA, Confluence, GIT or SVN)
• Have some experiences with some IDE (we are using MS Studio CODE)
• Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing
• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools
• Experiences with Testing Framework PlayWright + JavaScript (or some another) will be a BIG PLUS
• Knowledge and experience with SQL and scripting
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
• Experience with performance and/or security testing
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
• Good knowledge skills of English language (B2 or higher)
