Magellan’s goal is to simplify, standardize and modernize our core business processes, enabling BSC to better leverage the power of data and to position our business for profitable and sustainable growth.Reporting to the Logistics & Warehousing Lead, the Deployment Project Manager will act as the primary project manager and point of contact between The Magellan Program and the Kerkrade (site project team members, site leadership, site SMEs and other stakeholders). The Deployment PM will represent the global Magellan program strategy and implementation roadmap; planning, communicating, influencing, and coordinating execution efforts across the sites to meet both Magellan and site program objectives., The scope of the role will also include supporting other aspects of the Magellan Program (e.g., risk mitigations across the program, standardization programs). The Program will have the following phases: Design, Build and Testing, Deployment to post Go Live stabilization.Your key responsibilities will be:
- Develop a core understanding of the Magellan Program and the site implications across all Commercial, Inbound, Manufacturing, Outbound, Finance, Change Management and Master Data work-streams.
- Implements an effective program governance structure related to business and program functional requirements.
- Works with business, particularly the site Deployment Project Manager, and program leaders to ensure deployment alignment with S4 deliverables and business expectations.
- Manages a project prioritization process synchronized with rest of the program deployment deliverable, that enables an effective launch of S4.
- Manages some project-related costs, project schedule and project pipeline to agreed plan.
- Recognises and communicates team successes to local and global management.
- Develops project plans outlining work plans, timelines, roles and resources.
- Manages team progress to ensure achievement of all milestones and deliverables;
- Develops and delivers project recommendations to senior management and all stakeholders.
SCOPE
- Creates and maintains project risks and with the site & Business Continuity team ensures mitigations and contingencies are in place for business risk.
- Communicates with all levels of the site and program team in an effective manner.
- Enables effective change management processes in partnership with the site team members.
Who are we looking for:
- Proven track record of delivery in Program Management with 5+ years’ professional experience
- Bachelor’s degree required; Advanced degree preferred.
- Formal education in project management preferred with experience in similar ERP deployments a distinct advantage.
- Project Management/Management experience in medical device field preferred.
- Previous experience of Agile or Scaled Agile methodology, design thinking, and lean rituals will be an advantage but not essential
- Working knowledge of ERP systems and the broader Application Ecosystem, combined with knowledge of key business processes.
- Ability to shape, establish, communicate and engage teams in the vision & strategy of the Magellan Program.

- Good listening and communication skills, with ability to transfer knowledge efficiently.
This key role within our Magellan team will be responsible for an effective SAP S4 deployment at our Kerkrade site. (European Distribution site)You will start with a defined-term contract at least until the end of 2025.
