We need a candidate that through his/her expertise and leadership skills together with coaching of the team will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing cloud solutions on the Azure platform.In addition to the technical responsibilities, the candidate will coach agile teams to secure lean architecture and software development practices, ensuring the alignment of cloud solutions with agile principles and methodologies. This is of outmost importance to secure we set up our cloud environment according to current best practices from the beginning. We are investing a significant amount of development hours and resources on our software solutions through our three agile development teams and to secure best output of all resources and the investment is sound we need this senior profile on board.How to contribute to our visionCloud Design: Design and complex cloud solutions on the Azure platform, considering scalability, reliability, security, performance aspects and leading edge technologies. Develop architecture blueprints, diagrams, and technical documentation. Including delivery of projects in time and with solid quality.Azure Infrastructure Deployment: Lead the deployment and configuration of Azure infrastructure components, including virtual machines, networking, storage, databases, and other services, using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and tools like ARM templates, Terraform or Biceps.Cloud Application Development: Provide expertise in designing, building, and optimizing cloud-native applications and microservices using Azure services such as Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), and Azure Service Fabric.Cloud Security and Compliance: Implement robust security measures and compliance standards within Azure environments, including identity and access management (IAM), encryption, network security, and compliance frameworks like GDPR, ISO27001 etc.Performance Optimization and Monitoring: Optimize the performance and efficiency of Azure workloads through performance tuning, monitoring, and capacity planning. Utilize Azure monitoring and logging tools to proactively identify and address performance bottlenecks and issues.Lean Architecture and Software Development Coaching: Coach agile teams on lean architecture principles and software development practices to ensure the adoption of agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban based on SaFE, within cloud solution development processes. Facilitate continuous improvement and alignment with agile values and principles.Cost Management: Develop cost-effective cloud solutions by optimizing resource utilization, leveraging Azure cost management tools, and implementing cost-saving strategies such as Reserved Instances, Azure Hybrid Benefit, and Azure Spot VMs.Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, DevOps engineers, and business stakeholders, to understand requirements, provide technical guidance, and drive successful cloud solution implementations.Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest Azure services, features, and best practices.
