General responsibilities include team leadership of local or offshore software test teams across complex projects. Strategically oversees and drives program direction on functional testing, performance testing, test automation, cybersecurity, regression, and integration testing. Mentors and coaches team members regarding software quality assurance best practices and standards. Assists in the delivery of customer-centric features by facilitating and providing servant leadership to technical and non-technical peers.Your main responsibilities:

  • Collaboratively leads definition of testing strategy, milestones, project planning of software test activities, and responsible for timely project completion of assigned activities.
  • Demonstrates expertise in identifying, mitigating, and preventing security vulnerabilities within software systems.
  • Ensures adherence to best practices in defensive engineering throughout the development and testing lifecycle and embraces the secure by design approach to development of software systems.
  • Leads and oversees performance testing initiatives to ensure systems meet required performance standards under various conditions.
  • Examines performance test results and provides actionable insights for performance optimization.
  • Establishes and supports test automation strategies for the software test team.
  • Develops, implements, and maintains robust automation testing frameworks.
  • Ensures seamless integration of automated tests within the CI/CD pipeline to enhance testing efficiency and coverage.
  • Coordinates and conducts comprehensive integration testing to verify the seamless interaction of integrated components.
  • Ensures that system interfaces and interactions meet specified requirements and function correctly within the overall system architecture.
  • Collaboratively leads the design and execution of experiments to test hypothesis-related project outcomes; extracts the full relevance of technical observations.
  • Assures test quality through sound test design, test depth, and system engineering standards.
  • Reviews test team results and outcomes, provides relevant feedback and performs acceptance of team deliverables leveraging a repeatable process.
  • Develops and maintains internal and external contacts to expand technical knowledge.
  • Engages in cross-functional team participation and leadership.
  • Utilizes a variety of techniques and methods to provide process and product training to others.
  • Presents test concepts, test plans, and test results both internally and externally. Reviews and coaches presentations for others.
  • Models our speak-up culture in a constructive and professional manner.
  • Monitors work to ensure quality, and continuously promote Quality First Time.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.
