A leading Advanced Engineering Company headquartered in Dublin (Ireland) who design & develop high technology for industry leading sectors that include Space, Aerospace Applications, Energy,  Transportation and many more  are hiring for a brand new FPGA Engineer to join the team and business on a permanent basis.
 
Salary on offer:
The salary on offer for the successful FPGA Engineer is EUR80,000 – EUR90,000 per annum, which is the equivalent to £67,000 – £75,000 British Pound Sterling. Visa Sponsorship is available.
 
Summary of the FPGA Engineering role:
The FPGA Engineer will be responsible for architecting, designing and successfully delivering FPGA based systems.
 
FPGA Engineer Key Skills:

– 5+ years minimum years industry experience
– Experience in the full product design lifecyle 
– Knowledge & experience of FPGA design flow – Verification, Synthesis, Partitioning, Place & Route, Timing Closure and Power Estimation
– Experience of VHDL & Verilog for FPGA design & development
– An understanding of FPGA design process
– Familiarity of electronic circuit & system design – Analogue, digital and power
– Network interfaces – SPI, I2C, USB, UART, RS232/485, Ethernet etc
– Knowledge of embedded systems and processor architectures
– Preferred experience with VHDL and ECSS-Q-ST-60-02 – ASIC & FPGA Development design flow for space projects
– Programming in C, C++
– Scripting – Perl, TCL, Python
– Ability to use test equipment – Oscilloscope, Signal Generator, Signal Analyser
– Version Control Systems – SVN & Git
– Good teamwork & communication skills
