- Understanding and mapping out the requirements of the business.
- Playing a pivotal role in extracting valuable insights from data to inform strategic decisions.
- Collecting, cleaning and pre-processing data from various sources.
- Working closely with cross-functional teams and leveraging your expertise in Power BI to create compelling visualizations and reports.
- Designing, optimizing, and developing Power BI reports and dashboards to meet business needs and requirements.
- Working closely with stakeholders to gather and understand data requirements, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues with Power BI reports, transforming complex data sets into meaningful insights through the creation of data visualizations.
- Staying up to date with the latest Power BI Microsoft Fabric features and best practices to excel in this role.
YOUR SKILLS
- You have a Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
- You have an analytical mindset.
- You have proven experience as a Power BI Developer or a similar role.
- You know all about the programming languages SQL, Dax and Python.
- You can model data using Kimball, Dimensional Modelling and Data Vault.
- You are proficient in Power BI, including DAX, data modeling and custom visuals.
You get even more bonus points if …
- You have a good knowledge of Azure Synapse, Data Factory, and Databricks.
- You are familiar with diverse types of data storage for structured data.
- You are a strong communicator with teamwork abilities.
- A Koala, Panda, Python are more to you than just exotic animals or R is not just what pirates shout.
- You are fluent in Dutch and/or French and English.
