Is this the role for you?Research & Insight sit at the heart of the Paramount brands and understanding the core audience informs everything we do. This role will support the UK business in delivering clear, actionable insights through analytics, qualitative and quantitative research to meet the ongoing needs of the International Brands across Paramount.What will you be doing?The main focus of this role is provide insights to all lines of business in connection our International Brands: Nickelodeon, Comedy Central and MTV, as well as Milkshake!.This means working closely with Programming, Scheduling, Marketing, PR, On Air, Consumer Products and other teams to ensure the business is delivering the best possible product to our audiences.
- To interrogate all available research sources to provide internal and external partners with data analysis, creative, actionable insights to help inform decision making for all UK pay channels across the Paramount portfolio
- Tracking the performance of key competitor channels and brands
- Preparing and presenting weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports on brand performance – including linear, non-linear and digital metrics to all departments
- Supporting Insights Director to manage and deliver qualitative insight
- To fully manage primary research projects, from concept to delivery
- To work closely with the Pay forecasting and finance team to provide up to date insight and analysis and ensure joined up thinking and processes
- To proactively provide insights, adapting delivery based on partner needs
- To work with International counterparts and teams, aligning strategy
What are we looking for?Essential:
- Demonstrate a strong knowledge and curiosity about television and film, and a passion for media
- High level of numeracy
- Hard-working and an inquisitive mind
- Work efficiently under pressure and to agreed deadlines
- A disciplined approach ensuring projects and requests are seen through to an accurate conclusion
- Previous viewer insight and/or research analysis experience, with a genuine interest in people and a curiosity for understanding TV viewing
Ideal:
- Proven knowledge of BARB & Techedge, media analysis tools and techniques
- Experience of VOD/non-linear insight and online reporting
- Experience of online measurement
- Experience of survey design
- Ability to produce high quality written materials and deliver strong written and verbal presentations
- Previous experience in a Media company / Broadcaster
