Job description

In your new role you will:

  • Do compliance checks in the ESD protected lab area (EPA)
  • Support the entire calibration process of the lab equipment to ensure that the used equipment is fulfilling the regulations according to the mandatory standard (IATF16949)
  • Verify and check that defined lab standards are applied
  • Prepare and maintain the software setup on the lab PCs and fix smaller issues
  • Ensure that Lab4.0 is possible by enabling samples, boards and equipment to be tracked via scanner, software and database
  • Train and enlarge your capability to work with tools like microscope, soldering iron, etc.
  • Be responsible for the enrollment of work safety instructions to ensure that everybody is safe in the lab areas and during the daily work

Type of employment: Temporary / Full-time or part-time (Flexible working hours from Monday to Friday between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m.)

Duration: min. 6 months

Your Profile

You successfully meet the requirements for this position if you are a motivated and committed student from the field of e.g. Informatics, Mechatronics, Technical Marketing, Electronic Engineering, Microelectronics or similar. You are best equipped for this task if you additionally offer:

  • Basic Knowledge about PC setup and configuration
  • Good English skills
  • Willingness to do an internship in duration of minimum 6 months, preferably 1 year (or more)

This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry (full-time), employment group B for bachelor students, employment group D for master students (https://www.feei.at/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/minimum-salaries-white-collar-workers-2023.pdf).
