Purpose of the positionMacGregor Global Services Division is looking for a Trainer who will be responsible for Steering Gears, Cranes and Hatch-Covers. The purpose of the position is to provide product line related training for both internal and external customers globally. The position can be based in any Global Services Division location in Europe or Asia.Main tasks and responsibilitiesCreate and develop training courses and materials for the responsible product(s) by different technical levelsConduct training to internal and external customers globally (classroom, online, on equipment)Develop and implement digitalized training and tools (e-learning, VR, AR, etc.).Review and constant improve training content, materials and methodsExecute certification processes of service personnel according to OPMRegister and maintain technical competence data of service engineers properly and correctly in the systemPrepare offers and conduct training courses for external customerDevelop and train local frontline trainers related to responsible product line, as neededWhat you’ll need to succeedAcademic degree in the fields of engineering on Bachelor level or equivalentMinimum five years in shipbuilding or marine industry or relevant business/product experienceTechnical background or knowledge of responsible MacGregor productsExperience in a technical / commercial role in service environment is preferredExperience in field service jobs is an advantageGood technical skills and product knowledge of the responsible product lineUnderstanding of technical and operational use of the marine & offshore equipmentKnowledge of classification societies requirements, service process and documentation standardsPedagogical skills and ability to transfer know-how/experience (technical writing/presentation) will be an assetAbility to prepare and develop training courses and materialsAbility in planning, coordination and completion of courses, including experience in instructingAbility to work in an international business environment and in a matrix organisationCommands respect and credibility, stemming from both experience and personalityAbility to function independently in a multi-task environment as well as part of a teamGood analytical skills, high attention on details and problem solving attitudeCustomer-focused and result-driven team playerAbility to interact and communicate well with people at all levelsStrong IT skills (office software)Good English skills, both written and spokenWhat we offerWorking with specialists in an international environmentAnnual training budget and development programComfortable workplace and friendly atmosphereMedicover Healthcare packageWorksmile cafeteria systemUNIQA Life InsuranceHybrid working systemCo-financing parkingOffice 5 minutes from SKM train stationInterested to join?Please submit your CV!
