SEN Teaching Assistant – September 2024
York
£400 – £500 week (salary is depending on experience and/or qualificationsThe School and RoleWe are on a recruitment drive for September 2024. We’re supporting a number of mainstream and specialist school settings across York and the surrounding areas. Our partnering schools are seeking Teaching Assistants to work in a variety of roles on fixed term, supply contracts and in permanent roles. As a SEN Teaching Assistant you will play an integral role in supporting young people with various Special Educational Needs including ASC, SEMH and PD. I would welcome applications from those with experience in educational and care settings.
- Large mainstream Secondary School – 1:1 ASD Support
- Mainstream Primary School – General Classroom support
- Primary SEN Provsion – Variaty of complex needs
- SEN Provisions – Multiple roles & requirements
RequirementsThe desired Teaching Assistant will have;– Experience of working with young people with Special Educational Needs,– Experience of working with young people in education is desirable but not essential– A passion for supporting pupils academically and socially– An ability to work as part of a teamWhat we offer
