Join us on our journey of growth!Job Purpose:Teva is seeking a highly experienced Head of Global Procurement / Chief Procurement Officer (CPO) to take on a significant leadership role within the company. The CPO will be instrumental in shaping Teva’s global procurement strategy, both direct and indirect, and will play a pivotal role in managing supplier relationships and the operation of company facilities. This position requires a strategic thinker who can drive value and innovation, ensuring sustainable growth for Teva.As the Head of Global Procurement, the CPO will be responsible for overseeing a substantial annual spend of over $6 billion and leading a large team of approximately 350 procurement professionals across more than 100 global sites. This role is crucial for the efficient and effective management of Teva’s procurement activities, and it demands a professional with a strong background in procurement strategy and operations.If you’re an experienced CPO with the ability to lead at a global scale and drive significant improvements in procurement processes, this opportunity at Teva could be a perfect fit for your expertise. - Develops and implements global procurement strategy (direct and indirect expenses) aligned with TGO & market standards, and with TGO and Teva corporate goals
- Oversees the development and execution of best-in-class category strategies to extract maximum value from Teva’s external spend and supplier base, focusing on cost savings, operational performance, quality, ESG performance, innovation, supply chain resilience and risk management
- Secures buy-in from key business stakeholders to collaborate on ambitious goals in cost savings, compliance, CO2 reduction, sustainability and process improvement
- Oversees the strategic sourcing process (including market research, benchmarks, supplier segmentation and evaluation, contract negotiation) and the development of initiatives to reduce total cost of ownership across the whole product lifecycle
- Drives partnership strategy and leads executive relationships with critical suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products and compliance with quality, regulatory and safety standards, and to secure access to innovation
- Drives the optimization of Procurement processes, analytics, and digital tools to maximize efficiency and value delivery
- Builds a team with strong negotiation and Procurement functional skills to maximize value delivery and manage risk
- Ensures regulatory & quality compliance in procurement management, including the management and maintenance of facilities to meet operational needs & regulatory standards
- Leads and mentors a high-performing team, fostering collaboration and innovation
- Supports team members’ professional growth and development
Experience:
- Professional: High proficiency in procurement management ; Scope 3 decarbonization and supplier ESG strategy ; Digital procurement strategy and optimization

Qualifications:
- MBA, Finance, Chemistry, Engineering, or Supply Chain or Equivalent Experience.
- 15+ years experience leading procurement teams in global, complex environments, preferably in large industrial or pharmaceutical organizations. Demonstrated success in implementing complex procurement strategies & innovative solutions.
