As we continue growing at a fast pace, will you “Dare to Grow” with us?YOUR ROLEWe are looking for a passionate data privacy expert to join our Ethics & Compliance (E&C) Function and drive sustainable business growth in line with our values.As Data Privacy Expert, you will support the Global Data Privacy Counsel in ensuring CEVA’s compliance with privacy regulations, principles, and standards worldwide. Reporting to the Global Data Privacy Counsel, you will enhance and maintain CEVA’s global privacy framework to mitigate data privacy risks and implement a global data privacy program.When working closely with Regional Compliance Officers, the Legal team, and the IT Security Team, you will also serve as a point of contact for data privacy issues facing our business teams. This role offers the chance to significantly impact our privacy practices and uphold high data protection standards.WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

  • Participating in cross-functional company projects related to data protection and privacy by design. Evaluate business and HR projects and initiatives for data privacy compliance. Conduct data protection impact and risk assessments and identify privacy issues that need to be escalated.
  • Draft, update, and suggest improvements to privacy policies, notices, guidelines, and processes.
  • Support the development of CEVA’s Data Privacy program and standards worldwide.
  • Promote a data protection culture and ensure business units understand their obligations.
  • Serve as a point of contact for data protection questions, notifications and requests, supporting global stakeholders across different teams. Support colleagues in interpreting and applying policies and guidelines.
  • Negotiate and review Data Processing Agreements.
  • Manage the data subjects’ requests process.
  • Monitor legislative changes and support evaluating their impact on business activities and privacy policies.
  • Assist in assessing changes in personal data processing activities and operational implications, helping to define privacy-compliant solutions.
  • Support managing and maintaining the company’s records and privacy assessments in OneTrust.
  • Supporting the development of privacy training to upskill key business areas on data privacy matters.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • Academic degree in the relevant area, including Law, Business Administration or Information Technology related studies.
  • At least four years of proven relevant experience in data privacy and at least two years of experience in a global/regional, multijurisdictional, and matrixed environment.
  • Understanding the international data privacy regulatory environment, particularly the EU GDPR, and the ability to translate it into operational implications for the organization.
  • Ability to organize own work in a dynamic working environment and deliver on different topics within agreed timelines and build and manage productive working relationships with key stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English and presentation skills.
  • Highly motivated, detail-oriented, independent, solid team contributor, able to work independently and cross-functionally in an international environment.
  • Able to balance a good understanding of commercial issues with safeguarding privacy and meeting regulatory requirements.
  • Structured and understand the importance of well-documented processes.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with Privacy Technology Platforms (e.g. One Trust, Adequacy, TrustArc, etc.).
  • Privacy-relevant certification, for example, by the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP).
  • Proficiency in French is a plus.
  • Knowledge and experience supporting privacy compliance outside the EEA, especially with CCPA compliance or other US privacy regulations, is a plus.
