Why do we need you ?For our production entity in Kallo, Belgium, we are looking for a WCM engineer. As WCM engineer, you have the highest esteem for Safety, Health and Environment. On a daily base you strive to work on achieving and maintaining our results in the field of EHS and in building further on our safety culture.Is this job for you ?In the role of WCM engineer you are an active member of the Process & Performance team. The Process & Performance team is a team with members coming from different departments such as quality, production and maintenance and has different expertise such as process, automation, electrical, mechanical and production. As a member of the Process & Performance team, your goal is to improve the performance of our production facility on a day-to-day base as well as on a project base. An active involvement on the shop floor as well as mindset towards continuous improvement are key for this. As WCM engineer you are also responsible for the successful rollout and implementation of our WCM program. Related with this rollout you are also actively involved in our route towards a more digital and paperless factory. Furthermore you also take an active role in process optimization and in the further roll-out of the Gyproc Academy. In your role as WCM engineer, you work closely together with the Process & Performance manager who leads the Process & Performance team. You bring to the table a critical mindset towards production processes, a strong willingness to achieve results and the capability to convince and motivate people. In house you will get the needed training and coaching with a strong focus on the knowledge of our production process and continuous improvement tools.To make sure nothing is forgottenYour qualifications: • You have an engineering degree or had relevant similar experience in a technical or scientific field • WCM & process experience is a strong advantage • You have a feeling for IT related topics • You are an efficient team player but you also can work autonomously • You have leadership skills and a drive to further a career in management • You have a proactive attitude towards SHE • You can work under a time pressure in order to achieve results • You want to continuously expand your knowledge • You are willing to work in a flexible time schedule if needed
