Arm Operations mission is to enable strategic outcomes for the organisation through integrated planning, governance, delivery, and insights infrastructure. As a team we drive effective strategic resource utilization, fast business decision-making and investments alignment with the business objectives and vision.

The Operations team includes members in multiple sites: UK, France and US!

The engineering operation manager will report to the Delivery and Engineering enablement team that drives alignment, methodologies, processes, metrics and reporting towards a standardized and efficient model across Arm.

Responsibilities:

We are looking for a passionate person, who will work in partnership with arm engineering groups to build engineering metrics, help shape and optimize engineering methodologies, processes, metrics, and reports to increase efficiency and bring wide alignment with arm strategy.

Required skills and experience:

  • Ability to conduct large-scale or complex change initiatives across the organisation.
  • Experience in defining and embedding engineering methodologies, processes, metrics, and reports that increase engineering efficiency and bring wide alignment.
  • Ability to advise management on the strategic and tactical areas of large projects based on the-field experience.
  • Adaptive and able to excel in fast-moving, rapidly evolving environments.
  • Ability to take part of the operational excellence of the company by steering continuous improvement actions.

“Nice to Have” Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in the Semi-conductor industry and knowledge of role types within the sector.
  • Experience working with diverse and multicultural teams.
  • A consistent track record of managing engineers.
  • Competences in using Jira, Confluence, Tempus.
  • Bachelors (BS) or Masters (MS/MSc) in Electronics, Electrical or Computer Engineering – although other degrees will be considered with relevant work experience.
