Locum Specialist Occupational Therapist
Position: Specialist Occupational Therapist
Location: Milton Keynes
Band: 6
Salary: GBP22 – GBP25 per hour
Pay Mechanism: Direct Pay Mechanism
Contract Duration: 01/09/2024 – 30/11/2024
About Client: Our client NHS Foundation Trust provides a range of medical services including emergency care, elective surgery, and maternity services. The hospital, founded in 1984, offers comprehensive diagnostic and cancer care.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ physical, emotional, and cognitive needs.
* Develop and implement personalized therapy plans to enhance patients’ functional abilities.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive patient care.
* Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding therapy techniques and lifestyle adaptations.
* Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and progress reports.
* Stay updated with the latest therapeutic practices and evidence-based research.
Essential Qualifications:
* Relevant degree in Occupational Therapy.
* At least 1 year of recent NHS experience.
* HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.
