Our operations help everything to come together at Amazon. As the Sr. Manager, Change Manager in a fast-paced and challenging environment, you’ll be the person who knows your area of the business inside out.

We are looking for an experienced manager to lead the ATS Germany’s Sort Center change management team to help grow and transform our transportation and delivery network in Germany.

You will need to build a deep understanding of our operations, while being constantly on the lookout for continuous improvement opportunities. Moreover, upon identifying positive process change for our business, you will play a pivotal role in implementing any solutions and changes. Therefore, from day one you will have an impact on both our efficiency and the level of service we provide to our customers.

Key job responsibilities

n this role you will:

  • Help build Europe’s fastest and most reliable delivery network

  • Lead a team of highly motivated and experienced managers

  • Interact with senior stakeholders in our delivery and supply chain teams to define and monitor execution of our expansion plans

  • Work with Amazon’s operations and operation support teams to identify new, better ways of working

  • Cooperate with our internal technology teams to develop new tech tools supporting our operations teams

  • Work with large data sets to uncover new insights helping Amazon improve operational excellence

  • Develop and maintain best practices for change management across the sort centers in Germany

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as Operations, IT, HR, and Safety, to ensure successful implementation of change initiatives

A day in the life

You’ll be based at one of our operational sites/You’ll split your time across a number of our operational sites. Spending lots of time on site will help you develop your team and collaborate on operational planning. This role has two sides. You’ll manage and motivate a team of leaders. At the same time, you’ll focus on long-term objectives. This includes creating contingency plans to keep operations running and mitigate against disruptions and driving initiatives that boost quality, safety and productivity. You’ll be a source of accountability and a business-wide champion of best practice.

Basic Qualifications

A degree

Relevant experience in manufacturing, production, distribution logistics environments, retail, or grocery in a management role

Relevant experience of working within a complex stakeholder structure

Advanced proficiency in verbal and written English and upper intermediate proficiency in the local language

A bachelor’s, advanced or master’s degree in engineering, supply chain, logistics, or manufacturing

Experience in managing third-party relationships
