Job Title: Project Manager for 6 months term

Reports To: Director, Project Management Office EMEA Commercial Operations

Fully Remote – based in the UK

Contract: 6 months Fixed-term contract

Position Summary:

The Project Manager for this role will look to leading and co-ordinating across all technical, service and reporting aspects of a commercial sample preparation project. This will range from discussions with clients and internal stakeholders, development of the project requirements, documentation aspects of setting up the project and management of all project related activities through to study completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Customer/Lab Experience and be the contact person for the Customers/Lab relationships

  • Management of the overall customer relationship, including maintaining and reporting of KPI’s, leading and coordinating the cadence of calls and meetings

  • Accountable for ensuring that the project runs seamlessly and meets tender terms

  • Coordinate with all departments to confirm stock availability and ensure timely processing of orders

  • Responsible for running reports/analysis of project management efficiency and ensure LIMs updates are done daily

  • Ensure cross-functional alignment according to Global Corporate needs

  • Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant partners and ensure resource availability and allocation

  • Compile project status report to partners and project team to get results to schedule and develop resolutions to mitigation risks/issues

  • Create and maintain project plan

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required

  • Proven project management experience

  • Previous experience in the biology, chemistry or related industries preferred

  • Strong organizational, planning, verbal, written and numerical skills with the ability to analyze and define solutions and manage multiple tasks.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

  • Strong communication, interpersonal and project co-ordination skills.
