Position: Payroll Specialist with DutchJob Description:As a Payroll Specialist, you will be a part of the Payroll Team in Sevenum. Together with your colleagues, you will be the first point of contact for all HR/Payroll-related inquiries, assisting employees with general questions (from policies and procedures to technology support) and managers with employee lifecycle administration.Skill requirements:Our ideal candidate has a ‘hands-on’ mentality, is energetic, analytical and takes responsibility in his / her work. You are flexible, proactive, focused on quality, have integrity and you can plan and organize well. We are looking for someone who can identify with the following profile:
- Experience in end-to-end Dutch Payroll process
- Knowledge of Dutch labour law;
- Solid knowledge of HR-related administrative processes and procedures;
- You speak Dutch fluently and your English is at least B1 level;
- Knowledge of Excel and how to use lookup formulas and pivots;
- Good communication and social skills;
Nice to have skills:
- Experience with AFAS Profit and Workday
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to questions on regulatory or complex administrative HR procedures and practices through multiple channels,
- Answer basic HR regulatory policy-related questions for both managers and employees in the Netherlands and Belgium, and escalate as appropriate,
- Being a point of contact for your HR colleagues,
- Provide support for the payroll process by maintaining the payroll audit database. Monitor and maintain data analysis between payroll and HR. Reconcile and process payroll information received from outside sources such as adjustments for relocated employees, bonus payments, stock options, and time accrual adjustments,
- Supporting HR processes if needed, such as: onboarding, contract changes, contract extensions, terminations and any other employee-related data changes,
- Creating reports for different stakeholders within the company on a regular basis,
- Continuously create and define process improvements focusing on standardization related to HR processes, initiatives and inquiries,
- Being responsible for meeting legal regulations, supporting internal and external audits,
- Assuring the highest quality of the documents and data correctness in our systems,
- Provide support in various HR projects, such as: system upgrades, writing and reviewing procedures, process alignment with other Teams.
