As a Scheduler / project planner (m/f/d) you would be responsible for strategic planning in the company and for ensuring that adequate provision of planning support is provided across all projects, and to the management team.
Explore your tasks and responsibilities
- Responsible for the initial tender planning of all projects during the tender and pre-construction phases. In particular ensuring the tender programme is realistic and achievable and coordinated with estimating functions
- Preparation of tender programmes and method statements to adequately demonstrate the sequence, methodology and timescales involved in the project
- Where working specifically on a project, responsible for initiating and maintaining on a regular basis the detailed construction programme together with a design and package procurement programme, in order to ensure that the work is carried out to meet the project requirements
- Collect data and update programmes to show progress or delays
- Provide weekly and/or monthly reports to Project Manager
- Ensure that current procedures relating to planning are adhered to or amended to suit a particular client / project
- Remain up to date with current planning methods and introduce into Exyte if found to be advantageous
Show your expertise
- Bachelor’s degree in any Engineering field and/or Construction Management
- Proven experience in the EPC Engineering, Procurement and Construction industry, working with engineering, procurement and contractors
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills as well as exceptional organization and coordination skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft products (e.g. Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, etc.)
- Basic understanding of Project Controls Functions
- Thorough understanding of proven scheduling techniques and practices
- Proficient using Primavera P6
- Understanding of CPM (Critical Path Method) concepts and calculations
- Experience in earned value management and the ability to audit / validate both engineering and construction progress
- Experience integrating schedule and BIM model preferred
