  • You take the journey during the service development and develop together with the team monitoring models based on your technical vehicle expertise in conjunction with analytical insights. The entire process is designed and managed by the monitoring team in Gent.
  • You predict and prevent vehicle breakdowns by monitoring contracted vehicles and by proposing the best solution to the customer: remote software downloads, remote campaigns, service scheduling, component replacement etc.
  • You take ownership of analytical models and make sure they perform to the best standards possible in providing uptime to our customers. For this you need to collaborate and discuss with other departments within the Volvo group.
  • You invest time in understanding new cutting-edge technologies like electric and hydrogen drivetrains and this on the trucks, bus and Penta product range.

Requirements:Are you the one?

  • You have a deep technical automotive background and a good understanding of the trends in remote vehicle diagnostics
  • You master applications as: SEWS, PHV, Configurator, Features Online, LDA, TechTool & Impact… experience with data related tools like Python, SQL and PowerBI are seen as an asset
  • You are capable of making abstract interpretations of technical problems remotely
  • You have good collaboration, communication and facilitation skills.
  • You are an enthusiastic team player with a can-do, start-up mentality
