Join GoStudent as the Head of Consolidation, where you will lead and enhance our IFRS reporting function. We are looking for a dedicated professional to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and to drive continuous improvements in our financial processes.

Vienna, Berlin or Madrid. (Hybrid)

Your Role in Our Journey 

• Lead the Group Accounting, Consolidation and IFRS reporting function at GoStudent.
• Ensure, reporting to shareholders, lenders, and official stakeholders is performed in a timely and consistent way.
• Develop group accounting policies in close collaboration with the CFO
• Develop and implement IFRS accounting guidelines and group manuals.
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting in compliance with group accounting guidelines.
• Serve as the IFRS expert for the organisation.
• Prepare and submit quarterly and annual accounting statements under IFRS.
• Work closely with group auditors and other external parties.
• Support various internal finance projects.
• Continuously improve and implement GoStudents financial processes.

Your impact 

• Education: UNI/ACCA degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Experience: 10+ years of professional experience in consolidation (5+ years), accounting, controlling, or reporting.
• Vision: You have a strong attention to detail and the ability to see the big picture.
• Team Player: You excel in a team environment but are also capable of working independently.
• Attributes: Accuracy, reliability, resilience, and a passion for numbers define you.
• Skills: Proficient computer skills and IT literacy.
• Language: Fluent in English; additional languages (especially German) are beneficial.
