Job description

The client is looking for a European Relationship Manager – Transport & Services to join his team in Brussels.As a European Relationship Manager, you will take on the following responsibilities:

  • You manage the relationship with our railway or other partners, as well as strategic projects related to international business development.
  • You lead and coordinate these relationships and cross-functional projects in collaboration with other departments and/or multidisciplinary teams, ensuring regular reporting.
  • You actively participate in the negotiation of operational contracts between the company and its partners and oversee their follow-up (needs analysis, economic analysis, etc.). To do this, you collaborate with other departments of “Strategy & Legal” and other Company divisions, as well as with partners.
  • You act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for one or more of our partners, for all matters beyond operational scope.
  • You are responsible for strategic projects related to international development (international sales, negotiations with partners, etc.).
  • You coordinate various projects within the department and provide reporting to management bodies.
  • You conduct market studies and ensure the realization of analyses related to the development of international activities.

Clients partnership – Key Account Management – Business & services|Europe network, Brussels based, transport & services industry

  • You hold a master’s degree in economics or finance and have relevant experience of at least 5 years in consultancy, with a role where you have launched and maintained partnerships in an international environment
  • AND you also have the following skills:
  • You are bilingual in Dutch or French (with good knowledge of the other language) and have a very good knowledge of English;
  • It’s a plus, but not a must, if you have knowledge of the railway sector, particularly international railway operations;
  • You have experienced in project management
  • You are results-oriented, with an entrepreneurial spirit, and take initiative;
  • You are customer-oriented, have integrity, and act in the best interest of the company;
  • You are an excellent communicator;
  • You can manage a large number of projects while ensuring they are properly followed up;
  • You have very good organizational and analytical skills;
  • You know how to work both independently and in a team. You consider the wishes, ideas, and opinions of others;
  • You are stress-resistant.
