eFX Global Mach Dev Lead, Vice President
Who we are looking for
Mach is the principal automated trading offering from eFX. It is a large global system that trades on a follow the sun basis and is developed by a multi-regional team.
Starting from nothing just over a decade ago MACH has expanded considerably. With thousands of market and client connections it handles significant trade flow and is a major PL contributor in the eFX suite.
Due to the platforms high trading volumes there is considerable positional risk. As such, the Global MACH Dev lead is a highly responsible role that requires exceptional coding skills, a full stack mentality, an in-depth knowledge of high performance computing, excellent communication skills, exceptional time management and the ability to handle very challenging situations with an unwavering commitment to risk excellence and code quality.
Any candidate applying for this position must possess all these skills,. as well as demonstratable understanding of automated trading and sound knowledge of FX Spot, Forward, Swap, Benchmarks and NDF trading.
This role involves live automated trading; hence the candidate must be able to work well under pressure and communicate effectively with multiple levels within the organisation.

Education & Preferred Qualifications/Experience
- 15+ years minimum experience in algorithmic trading, at a bank or hedge fund
- 5+ years leading an algorithmic trading team
- Proven track record of leading a multi-regional team
- Proven track record in performance computing
- Batchelor of Science degree or similar
- Desire to work within a collaborative, high pressure environment
- Strong communicator: be comfortable explaining results to both technical and non-technical audiences
