An exciting opportunity has arisen to work in the North Devon Coast National Landscape (‘Areas
of Outstanding Natural Beauty’) to assist with the delivery of the Finding Nature’s Footprints
project to enhance our knowledge of the species and habitats of the North Devon Coast National
Landscape, through community engagement, ecological surveys, and conservation activities.

collaborative team and have the opportunity to develop your ecological skills and knowledge,
whilst delivering project results and outcomes and make a difference for wildlife.
The overall project objective is to create a community-led Nature Recovery Plan for the North
Devon Coast National Landscape alongside community actions for wildlife. You will work with the
project partners, communities, landowners, schools, students, volunteers and agencies across
North Devon and Torridge. Working with the Project Co-ordinator, tasks include assisting with
the delivery of a range of ecological surveys, practical conservation tasks, wildlife recording
activities and green prescribing sessions for a wide range of people.
