Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 5 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, or investment banking, in the Consumer Electronics, Auto, OEMs, Telecom, E-Commerce/Retail, Apps, Ads, Gaming, or Technology industries.

  • Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.

  • Experience managing agreements or partnerships.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in partnerships, business development, agreement discussions, and partner management with public and private partners from different regions and verticals.

  • Experience working in a cross-functional, global team, including experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects.

  • Ability to interpret legal documents and work with attorneys on specific agreement language.

  • Ability to communicate in Spanish or Italian fluently.

  • Ability to represent the business in discussions and to achieve ongoing partner alignment.

  • Excellent communication with a partnership approach.

The Knowledge and Information Partnerships team is responsible for negotiating and managing partnerships that help build, differentiate, and scale Google’s products. The team’s mission is to create healthy ecosystems that bring sustainable value to Google by building product partnerships that enable cohesive, helpful, and inclusive user journeys.

The Geo Partnerships team drives user growth, engagement, and business growth by collaborating with private companies and public authorities. These partnerships, focused on partner content sourcing or other types of collaborations, are essential for powering existing and new product features, as well as supporting the successful launch of new product features.

  • Manage relationships with multiple high-stake partners (data providers, cities, public authorities) as a key contributor to Geo product goals. Manage existing partnerships, launch new relationships, drive new business opportunities, resolve business issues, and analyze and track key metrics to identify trends.

  • Drive partner strategy, including new partner and opportunity prospecting, conducting partner/industry research, and collaborating on product strategy to enable product priorities.

  • Drive end-to-end partner experience to ensure agreement integration, which includes negotiating and finalizing contracts, executing on account plans, pitching to partners, resolving partner issues, and advocating on behalf of the partner.

  • Influence across the team and with Product, Engineering, Legal, and other cross-functional teams to align resources and direction for go-to-market strategy or partner initiatives.
