You will be the first point of contact for students, staff, visitors and other customers, ensuring a positive first impression and handling all enquiries politely and professionally.Key Responsibilities

  • Provide a warm and professional welcome to all visitors, students and staff ensuring a positive first impression.
  • Handle a wide range of enquiries across multiple media channels, MS teams, virtual reception, email, phone and face to face.
  • Maintain a high standard of customer service at all times.
  • Assist in coordinating front desk activities, including distributing correspondence and redirecting phone calls.
  • Assisting with parking and transport enquiries for the University.
  • Support various administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the department.
  • Support the creation and handout of all accommodation keys for Stag Hill campus ensuing smooth running and offering excellent service.

About youYou should be confident in your use of Microsoft packages such as Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams with the ability to learn other internal IT systems. Organisation and customer service skills are key to this role, as is the ability to advise students in a professional, calm and friendly manner.You will be able to multi-task and deliver to deadlines in a fast paced and high-pressured environment, and will work well individually and as part of a close team, regularly liaising with many other student and staff support services across the University.What we can offerIn addition to salary, you will receive a yearly incremental pay rise, generous annual leave entitlement of 25 days holiday plus 7 university closure days and 8 bank holidays, a generous pension, access to world-class leisure facilities on campus, a range of travel schemes, and supportive family friendly benefits including an excellent on-site nursery.How to applyTo apply please submit a CV.
