Your Role

The Air Logistics Pharma & Healthcare Customer Care Specialist works within the Air Logistics Function. The Air Logistics in Kuehne+Nagel is a fundamental asset and provides air shipping and air forwarding solutions to achieve customer performance goals. Partners with clients belonging to a wide spectrum of industries (Pharma Healthcare, Aerospace, Perishables, Project Logistics, Automotive and New Mobility, Industrial and High Tech) and offers a wide range of tailor-made and end-to-end services (i.e.: Time-Defined Products, Sea-Air, Charter Services, Cargo Insurance, Customs Clearance), leveraging digital transformation and providing sustainable shipping options for customers to decarbonise their transport. The air freight capacity is build upon our network with the most effective gateways and long-lasting strategic carrier relationships. Is focused on operational excellence and provides excellent customer service/support to KN’s Pharmaceutical and Healthcare customer base (both existing, new and opportunity). Helps customers with daily challenges, answering questions, and investigating complaints (TIP/CAPA) and supporting them with innovative solutions. Maintains the correct level of training as outlined by the Station Lead.

Your Responsibilities

Business Development

  • Assist in customer onboarding and implementation to ensure to transfer customer requirements into
  • KN systems so that Operational Care & Global Services are clearly informed about deliverables
  • Support qualification of customer inquiries and provide quotations within corporate guidelines for
  • pricing, up-selling, and requisite follow up and closure

Service Excellence

  • Collaborate for the monitoring of customer shipments in order to provide with proactive updates to
  • customers and with problem solving (by collaborating with other stake-holders) in anticipation of a
  • customer complaint

Quotation Management

  • Qualify customer inquiries and provide quotations based upon corporate guidelines or local pricing
  • strategy including upselling, follow up and closure
  • Relationship Management
  • Care about knowledge exchange with sales and account management teams and manage the update
  • of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool (Corelog)

Your Skills and Experiences

  • 1-2 years of experience in similar roles
  • Experience in the specific market vertical
  • English (fluent), Italian (native)
