Allianz Holding Eins is responsible for Central & Eastern Europe (CE) focusing on strategic development, planning and leadership for financial services sectors within the region. The region covers 11 countries in total Austria, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Croatia, Slovenia, Hungary, Poland, Lithuania, Romania, Slovakia and Ukraine.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify business/IT risks through analysis of large volumes of data, as part of the risk-based planning process as well as through the execution of the audit plan.
  • Participate in audit assignments across the Region, contribute through data preparation and cleansing, interpret large datasets and identify significant trends or outliers.
  • Execute and improve audit projects based on digitalization and data analytics
  • Lead the development of the data analytics maturity level across the Region through identification of new data analytics use cases, further developing the methodology, identifying adequate training paths and staying abreast of new technologies including artificial intelligence.
  • Drive the development and promotion of an AI and data analytics culture within the Regional team and with relevant stakeholders, oversee the use of data analytics and AI by the audit team to support the execution of audit assignments.
  • Define continuous monitoring scenarios, red flags and alert mechanisms as deemed necessary and develop the automation of control testing to mitigate operational risks.
  • Communicate with stakeholders from all hierarchy levels.
  • Act as a main interface between Group, Region and CE OEs on DA&AI related topics.

Key Requirements/Skills/Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in data analysis or equivalent
  • Proficient understanding and application of data analysis used in either financial services, audit, and/or risk management functions
  • University degree in data science, engineering or equivalent 
  • Team spirit, self-motivation and a proactive and committed working style 
  • The ability to analyze large volumes of data including strong knowledge of programming language (e.g. SAS, SQL, Python) and ideally visualization (e.g. Excel, IDEA, PowerBI) 
  • Interests in developing AI skills
  • Excellent analytical skills and mind set
  • Ability to interact in a global work environment with people from different countries and cultures 
  • Project Management skills
  • Professional level of English (written & spoken)

For this position we offer a monthly gross salary of at least EUR 60.000 gross (full-time basis). Overpay is possible in case of and depending on appropriate experience, qualifications and commitment.
