We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Key Stage 1 Teacher to join a vibrant and supportive primary school community in Barking and Dagenham. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences, ensuring that each child reaches their full potential.Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum for Key Stage 1.
- Create a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment that supports all pupils’ social and emotional development.
- Assess, record, and report on the progress and attainment of pupils, providing feedback that helps them improve.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to plan and implement a creative and cohesive curriculum.
- Build positive relationships with parents and carers, keeping them informed of their child’s progress.
- Contribute to the wider school community through participation in events, meetings, and professional development.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching in Key Stage 1.
- A thorough understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum and assessment procedures.
- Strong classroom management skills with a focus on positive behaviour strategies.
- A passion for teaching and a commitment to fostering a love of learning in young children.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
- Flexibility, resilience, and a proactive approach to your professional development.
