ROLE – Assembly Technician 
LOCATION – Ashford, Kent
TERM – Permanent
SALARY- £25,000 to £30,0000 per annum

My client is a supplier of engineering equipment. They are looking to take on an Assembly Technician to work on assembly and testing. This is a permanent position, based in Ashford, Kent.  

The Assembly Technician will ideally have the following attributes:

– Enjoys assembly
– Keen interest in Mechanical and Electrical work
– A background in Manufacture would be beneficial  
– Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
– Team player
– Eager to train and develop their career in Engineering/Manufacture

 
The Assembly Technician role will involve:

– Mechanical and Electro-Mechanical assembly of a variety of products and equipment
– Working to procedures and instructions
– Creating sub-assemblies, looms and cables
– Testing and fault-finding
– Repair and calibration
– Communicating with different departments to resolve technical issues
