We work with academic and student inventors to identify innovative opportunities which create social, economic and environmental impact. We then develop these opportunities into commercially valuable Intellectual Property licenses or spin out businesses.We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Business Analytics Manager (Life Sciences). Working within the Business Analytics Team and reporting to the Head of Business Analytics. The key objectives of the role are:

  • To communicate with inventors the analysis and decisions made in the Innovation Factory about the invention and innovators
  • To assess and record innovative opportunities which have commercial potential.
  • To work in collaboration with the Innovation Discovery Team and Investment and licensing team.

The successful candidate will have the following essential skills, experience and qualifications:

  • Demonstrable scientific experience in the field of Life Sciences.
  • Experience in an innovative, commercial environment..
  • Informed about new Life Sciences developments and market-specific trends.
  • Analytical and thinks broadly about the commercial impact before making decisions.
  • Delivers in order to achieve Innovation Factory company objectives and performance targets.
  • Builds strong collaborative relationships with inventors, colleagues and both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Works within time and cost constraints appropriate to the project.
  • Respects and works according to the Innovation Factory’s company values, namely;
  • Higher degree in a Life Sciences related subject is essential.
