Based out of HorsensAre you passionate about optimization of technological solutions and have hands-on experience with particularly ERP systems and Microsoft Dynamics 365? Would you like the opportunity to become part of an international design brand with a unique culture and community?If yes, please read on!At our office facilities by the harbor edge in Horsens, you will become part of an energetic office community, consisting of approx. 130 colleagues looking forward to welcoming you in our team as of 1 September 2024, or as soon as possible hereafter.About the jobAs Head of Technology at HAY, you will play a key role in driving IT and operational excellence within the organization, leveraging advanced technologies and strategic partnerships to achieve business objectives.More specifically, your tasks will include:ERP & Master Data Optimization Lead

• Work with the key stakeholders to define and to implement an enterprise application strategy for HAY
• Lead efforts to optimize the Microsoft Dynamics 365 FO system to align with evolving business needs
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement enhancements
• Continuously assess system performance and recommend adjustments to enhance productivity and efficiency
• Budget management

IT Operations and Onsite Support

• Leadership of local onsite support team
• Ensure effective IT service delivery to meet organizational needs in collaboration with global technology team
• Management and support of Microsoft Azure environment in collaboration with external vendor
• Monitor and optimize IT infrastructure for maximum efficiency and reliability.
• Act as a liaison between global technology teams and operational units to address IT-related issues promptly
• Ensure HAY’s business continuity plans are maintained and tested, and that all legal, cyber-security and SOX requirements of the corporation are met

Vendor Management

• Engage with external vendors to facilitate seamless integration and support of ERP-related technologies
• Coordinate vendor activities and ensure timely resolution of

issues to minimize disruptions * Negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships tomaximize value and service qualityOperational Support and Alignment

• Maintain a thorough understanding of organizational goals and operational tasks
• Provide support and guidance to operational teams, leveraging IT solutions to optimize processes and workflows
• Actively identify opportunities for improvement and propose innovative solutions to enhance operational effectiveness

People Leadership

• Ensure execution of people processes and the annual HR wheel
• Create a high-performance team with high engagement
• Ensure the team is working towards HAYS and global technology’s goal
• Communicate business strategy, corporate values, and financial results to team members

Are you the Head of Technology we are looking for?Role expectations

• Key success involves hands-on engagement with operational tasks
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in a global environment, with the ability to effectively collaborate with domestic and international stakeholders (internal or external ones) across multiple time zones

• Analytical mindset with the ability to identify issues, evaluate alternatives, and implement effective solutions
• Focus on reliability and quality in service delivery
• Prepared to accept responsibility, make decisions, and take risk
• Able to lead decision making meetings without the formal structural authority
• Knowledge of system audits – including SOX compliance

Experience required

• Hands-on experience with ERP systems, particularly Microsoft Dynamics 365 FO, including customization and optimization
• Leadership experience from a similar role for at least three years
• At least 5 years’ experience with formal project management methodologies
• Proven experience with IT operations and service management, with a focus on optimizing IT infrastructure and systems
• Solid understanding of master data management principles and best practices
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive initiatives to completion
