A day in the life of…As our Talent coördinator, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and overseeing training programs to ensure our staff is equipped with the skills and knowledge necessary to provide exceptional service to our guests. Based mainly at the Holiday Inn Express and Suites and the Residence Inn, you will focus on our two hotel openings.The ideal candidate will be passionate about professional development and have a strong background in hospitality training.We work together as one team. Hence you are not afraid to roll up your sleeves and support your colleagues to enhance a memorable experience throughout the hotel. The ideal candidate has a proven track record as an inspiring leader who enjoys coaching and empowering team members and who takes pride in meeting and exceeding expectations as one team.Your most important tasks will be:

  • Training Program Development: Design and develop comprehensive training programs tailored to the needs of various departments within the hotels to conform to brand standards – IHG and Marriott brand.
  • Training Delivery: Conduct onboarding sessions for new employees to familiarize them with hotel policies, procedures, and culture. Make sure that SOP’s are signed of and the employees are well informed about the SOP’s.
  • Employee Development: Collaborate with department heads to identify training needs and career development opportunities for staff. Work closely with Horecaforma and Advise HOD’s on which trainings are recommended.
  • Compliance and Record Keeping: Ensure all training programs comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • HR projects.

What do we need from you?To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Fluent in Dutch, good knowledge of French and English
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in training and development, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing effective training programs.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and graphic design programs to make flyers (Canva, Adobe…)
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
  • High level of discretion and professionalism.
