About the role

Key purpose of the role is to deliver high-quality and reliable tech services to the Haleon Executive Team and Board. The role requires a strong understanding of the exec team’s technology needs and preferences, as well as the ability to resolve issues quickly and effectively.

You will work closely with the exec team and their assistants, as well as colleagues across the IT function, to ensure a smooth and seamless experience with technology across the globe. You will also provide feedback and suggestions for improvement to the digital workplace team and beyond, who are responsible for the overall employee experience with technology.

The role will give you a unique opportunity to interact with and support the exec team, as well as to learn from and contribute to the digital workplace strategy and initiatives. You will be involved in a variety of activities within the role and the organisation, such as:

Key responsibilities

  • Ensure the exec team has reliable and secure access to the technology tools and platforms they need to communicate, collaborate, and the information required to make decisions effectively across the globe.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues or requests that the exec team or their assistants may have, using a proactive and customer-focused approach.

  • Provide training and guidance to the exec team and their assistants on how to use the technology tools and platforms effectively and efficiently and keep them updated on any changes or enhancements.

  • Monitor and evaluate the performance and user feedback of the technology tools used by the exec and provide input and suggestions to the tech team for improvement and innovation.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with the exec team and their assistants, as well as colleagues across the IT function and other relevant stakeholders, to ensure alignment and coordination of technology support and services.

  • Lead and manage a team of exec tech support specialists, who are in different regions and time zones, and ensure they deliver high-quality and consistent service to the exec team.

Qualifications and skills

Essential

We are seeking candidates with

  • Experience leading an Exec support team in a large organisation

  • Exceptional analytical, problem solving and making critical decisions.

  • Hands-on knowledge and extensive technical expertise with Digital Workplace technology including the Microsoft 365 suite, Adobe Suite, Audio-Visual rooms, as well as Cisco & Teams meeting spaces,

  • At least 10 years of experience in deskside support positions, ideally at an executive support level

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, ability to influence decision making.

Preferred

  • Detail orientated with a focus on quality and security.

  • Proven ability to work effectively in cross functional teams.

  • Leading a global team
