This occurs in a drug product environment where we execute the formulation and packaging activities for liquids and creams. At the same time as MAM we deploy the newest technologies e.g. device assembly capabilities.The RoleAs an Automation Engineer in the Supply Chain Beerse, your main goal is to support the design, deployment and support of the bigger and most complex automation systems used during our day-to-day formulation and packing activities. You will be fully responsible for systems like Process Control Systems or Warehouse Automation Systems. You define the strategy and roadmaps for your systems and will work closely together with other departments like Engineering and Quality to achieve your goals.Your Responsibilities
- You apply coordinative and communication skills while you design, deploy and maintain your systems in strong collaboration with other colleagues.
- You ensure compliance in all aspects of your role. Having great system documentation is something you really value.
- You apply a proactive approach to understand the needs of our system users and stakeholders and keeps these stakeholders well up-to-date about everything what is happening with your systems.
QualificationsWe would love to hear from YOU, if you have the following essential requirements:Qualifications
- You have strong interest in the world of Automation in an operational supply chain environment. Preferred field of study is Automation Engineering or IT, although the job description is open to any motivated professional.
- We are open for an entry level to senior engineer
- Affinity to delivering innovative technical and engineering solutions in multiple manufacturing environments is preferred
- Knowledge of Process Excellence tools (Lean, Six Sigma) preferred. Green or Black Belt Certification in Lean or Six Sigma is preferred
- Knowledge of technology development and validation, including design of experiments and statistical analysis, is preferred.
