Offer DescriptionDean of the Faculty of Economics, Ph.D. Monika Bąk, professor of the University of Gdańsk, on behalf of the Rector of the University of Gdańsk, announces a competition for the position of assistant in the group of research and teaching staff at the Department of Maritime Transport and Trade in the Department of Electronic Economy. The competition is open to persons who meet the requirements specified in the Act of July 20, 2018 – Law on Higher Education and Science (Journal of Laws of 2018, item 1668, as amended) and in the Statute of the University of Gdańsk of June 13, 2019DEADLINE FOR SUBMITTING OFFERS: September 13, 2024, at 12.00. EMPLOYMENT CONDITIONS: 100% full-time, fixed-term employment contract from October 1, 2024 to September 30, 2025 (one academic year, with the possibility of extending the contract); amount of remuneration – according to the Remuneration Regulations of the University of Gdańsk; we offer organizational and financial support for scientific development.COMPETITION RESULT DATE: September 16, 2024. COMPETITION CONDITIONS: Master’s degree (or PhD) in social or technical sciences; specific interests in e-business issues; knowledge of the Polish language to the extent enabling the preparation and conduct of classes as part of the teaching load (certified if it is not the native language); certified knowledge of a foreign language (English) sufficient to prepare and conduct classes as part of the teaching load; Polish and English to the extent enabling the preparation of scientific publications in these languages; documented organizational and scientific activity; documented original scientific achievements in peer-reviewed journals, including those in English, and/or authorship/co-authorship of a monograph; independence in research work, ability to work in a team, willingness to improve scientific and teaching skills; predispositions to scientific and teaching work having experience in conducting teaching classes in Polish (also welcome in English);Basic responsibilities: full-time job for assistant position; preparing and conducting teaching classes in Polish as part of the teaching load; preparing and conducting teaching classes in a foreign language (English) as part of the teaching load; initiating and implementing research work in the scientific area of ​​the Department/Department; cooperation in the functioning of the Department/Department.Candidates entering the competition are asked to submit their application to the secretary’s office of the Department of Maritime Transport and Trade in the Department of Electronic Economy, Faculty of Economics of the University of Gdańsk, ul.
