We provide technical support and training to PC and PC network users. Known for our versatility across the technical spectrum, we use Hardware and software tools to solve problems while supporting, installing and maintaining PCs, LANs, server Hardware, operating systems, software and related-IT sanctioned peripherals.Job responsibilities

  • Keep the administration files up to date (maintaining detailed documentation and the inventory), be the guardian of firm standard setup for workplaces, printers, telephone system and associated equipment, mobile phones; installing, setting up and providing support and troubleshooting assistance, when required, to all firm personnel regarding IT related issues;
  • Act as focal point of contact for on-site and remote support for the offices/plants people. He will liaise with his local IT colleagues in relation to alerting with regards to problems experienced by users and with systems generally.
  • Be in charge of solving a wide panel of requests, from Hardware to Office 365, business specific applications, as well as Mobile devices related queries.
  • Major focus on the organization and the follow-up of the client support activities and of the client satisfaction in this domain.
  • Responsible for creating and follow-up incidents and demands tickets in the ITSM system, maintaining complete ownership of incidents through escalation and until complete resolution.
  • Create know-how documentation on our client’s specific systems, set-up and applications and prepare recommendations to continuously match business needs as well as on project-oriented tasks.

Job requirements

  • Good working knowledge of standard PC operating systems (Windows 10) and the Microsoft Office applications, between others, Office 365, SharePoint, Skype for Business and MS Teams.
  • Understand major telecommunication and office automation systems and follow standards in cabling and structuring workplaces.
  • Very good written and verbal communication skills are essential, over the telephone and face-to-face due to interactions with our internal customers and with other staff or international IT members both in English and in French.
  • Superior Customer Service attitude, analytical and problem-solving skills, self-organized and pragmatic approach are mandatory.
  • Flexibility to travel, if required, for short missions in the other offices of the company, mainly in Belgium.
  • 3 or more years of IT technical support experience, preferably in a similar working environment.
  • Office and Industrial IT experience and a technical degree required, accreditation or documented technical training is a plus.
