In this exciting internship you’ll get the chance to support an insight driven culture at Red Bull through exceptional understanding of shopper behaviour, channel & category trends and the application of this knowledge within the business. A significant portion of this role involves assessing and exploring the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in producing shopper insights and market research methods. We’re looking for a motivated intern as of October 2024 for a period of 6 months.

  • Shopper research
  • As a Market Research Intern, you’ll participate in designing and conducting primary research studies such as surveys or focus groups, support project management, and coordinate relevant stakeholders. You’ll assist in analyzing primary and secondary research data to understand market dynamics and shopper needs, using statistical analysis tools and qualitative methods to interpret data and identify key insights.
  • Cross-market insights generation from multiple sources
  • Key skills you’ll need include analytical thinking and the ability to gather and compile data from various sources, such as consumer surveys, sales data, shopper loyalty cards, and market research reports. This role involves working with large datasets and using data extraction techniques.
  • AI assessment and exploration
  • You’ll focus on evaluating the use of AI in the shopper insights function throughout the internship, leading the consolidation of publicly available knowledge in AI, driving upskilling within the team, and exploring and testing different research methods and tools for future use through collaboration with internal teams, external vendors, and pilot projects.
  • Shopper tools support
  • You’ll support the roll-out of the sales knowledge hub by making relevant shopper insights content accessible globally, assist in developing dashboards and reports to visualize key insights for stakeholders, and trial new data visualization tools to present data in an easily understandable format. Additionally, you’ll ensure data accuracy and integrity through thorough quality checks and validation processes.

EXPERIENCE

Your areas of knowledge and expertise

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Familiarity with data visualization software (e.g., Tableau) is a plus.
  • Basic and interest in understanding AI concepts and tools (e.g., machine learning, natural language processing).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail, process driven and structured.
  • Inquisitive, passionate, self-motivated and results-driven.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment
  • University degree (business, Marketing, market research, psychology, anthropology)
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
